Good to Great is a book by Jim Collins that looks into the reasons why some companies are able to make the leap from good to great, while others remain mediocre or worse. He and his research team studied the histories of 28 companies and found common characteristics, such as Level 5 Leadership, the Hedgehog Concept, a Culture of Discipline and Technology Accelerators, that help companies make the leap. They also discuss why frequent restructuring can prevent companies from achieving greatness.
