Fig AI

Fig AI is a code assistant from the terminal addon Fig. It allows users to translate English into Bash commands in any shell. With Fig AI, users can simply run "fig ai" and input their desired command in English. The AI is based on OpenAI's Codex language model, which ensures the most accurate responses. Examples of input that can be given to Fig AI include listing all python files in a specific folder, undoing a recent git commit, and finding all files on a computer containing a specific word. The more specific the input is, the better the output will be. Additionally, users can use the shorthand "#" to input commands, and can turn this feature off in the settings if desired. However, it is important to note that the terminal is a sensitive environment, and users should not blindly run commands without understanding what they do. Fig AI is currently only available on Fig Pro, and can be tried for free for 14 days.
